about

The blackboard was invented in 1801 by James Pillan in Scotland. It revolutionized education. Through its various incarnations as a chalkboard (green in color), then a white board (using dry erase markers) and now to its technological cousin the SmartBoard, the concept remains the same.

Communicate. Share. Teach.

These principles drive this blog. The blackboard was invented for students. We, the contributors of this blog, have seen a need for teachers to have their own blackboard - a space to communicate ideas, share ideas, teach ideas.

Welcome. May we continue the legacy.
